• Provide meaningful, comprehensive board member-superintendent team training.
• Recognize professional development and outstanding accomplishments through timely and meaningful awards.
• Provide timely and effective marketing of ASBSD Board Development training events.  

Enable ASBSD to deliver valuable, useful and accessible member services.

• Expand exhibitor participation and support for ASBSD and SASD convention.
• Expand and enhance opportunities for members to receive ASBSD services.  
• Improve awareness of ASBSD services through coordinated marketing efforts.
• Make effective use of technology to support member interaction.  
• Maintain a diverse financial base consisting of dues, fees and membership-based services and product to support the work of the association.

Build capacity of school boards to engage their communities in dialogue that expands support of public education.

• Explore and establish foundations for ASBSD Community Engagement Services.

• Build, equip and mobilize a grassroots advocacy network to influence public policy.
