GAVEL Foundations
ASBSD's revamped new board member workshop, titled Laying A Foundation: An introduction to effective school board governance, is a five-hour seminar devoted to board orientation and two essential content areas that gives board members a solid foundation for serving on a school board.
Board members will walk away with a basic understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to effectively govern and receive in-depth training on the board's governance authority and school board teamwork.

Dates, Time and Location
All seminars run from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., local time zone. Check-in on the day of the event begins 30 minutes in advance of the start time (refer to the map at right for driving directions).

Registration
Registration fee includes professional workshop fee, materials and an evening meal.
