School Board Leadership Conference
The ASBSD Leadership Conference is held each year in conjunction with the ASBSD Delegate Assembly. The 2009 event was a smashing success! Thanks to all who participated. Check back in 2010 for the dates and times for next year's event.
Agenda
The full-day ASBSD Leadership Conference is designed to allow participants to engage in a meaningful discussion on two education policy areas - pre-k standards and education funding - and build consensus on how to proceed on a path toward achieving reform in both areas.

About Dr. Phillip Boyle
Dr. Phillip Boyle is president of Leading Governing Associates and a creator of a decision-making model that prepares public servants to make decisions based on the four values of the public.
Dr. Boyle is a professor at the University of North Carolina and travels the country helping policy makers assess public policy and chart a course for action. He is making a return trip to South Dakota after wowing school board members at the 2007 ASBSD Leadership Conference.
Date, Time and Location
Check-in on the day of the event begins 30 minutes in advance of the start time.
Registration
ASBSD provides a $10 per registrant discount for registering 72 hours in advance. Registration fee includes dinner following the ASBSD Delegate Assembly (Friday), an afternoon meal (Saturday), all materials and professional workshop fees.
